How does Klingon handle abbreviations?

Does the Klingon language use abbreviations?
And if so, what is the preferred method of making an abbreviation? Do Klingons prefer initialisms, syllabic abbreviations or something else? If it’s initialisms, are they pronounced letter by letter (like the UN) or like a word (f.ex. NASA) or can it be either?
Do Klingons fall victim to the RAS syndrome?
How are abbreviations marked in writing? I’ve seen human languages use anything from cases, dots, slashes, hyphens, double apostrophes and probably many more, but what would Klingons use (if anything)?
And finally, how are they handled grammatically? Some languages do interesting things, especially with plurals (f.ex. Spanish „EEUU“ or Russian „з/к з/к“); does Klingon do anything like that?
